Importer Precision Cars (Cambodia) Limited unveiled the country’s first official Porsche dealership location in early 2015, commemorating the event by launching a new line of SUVs.
Opened on 12 February, the Porsche Centre Phnom Penh signals another milestone in the country’s growing luxury car industry. The centre is the first location where Porsche owners in Cambodia can access professional sales and after-sales support teams. After an investment of more than $2 million by Precision Cars, the space offers a 500sqm car showroom and 700sqm after-sales facility at its Russian Federation Boulevard location.
In line with the opening, Precision Cars launched the new Porsche Cayenne, which boasts boosted power and torque as well as improved fuel economy, according to the company. The Cayenne S E-Hybrid introduces Porsche’s plug-in hybrid technology for the first time in the Kingdom, and the Cayenne S offers a new 3.6-litre V6 bi-turbo engine. The SUVs, which include new designs for the front body, front wings and bonnet, cost between $117,650 and $138,750.
“The new Cayenne accentuates Porsche’s refined design language, suited to Cambodian families who desire a premium luxury SUV to suit their active lifestyle,” says a Precision Cars statement. To celebrate the opening, the centre will offer all Porsche owners a complimentary diagnostic check.
